Who They Are: 

Propstore presents exclusive auctions and sells props, costumes and other collectibles from films & TV shows. 

My role: 

Design Manager, Lead Graphic Designer (Managing and directing a small team of 3 designers, including myself) 

Responsibilities:

• Creating an entirely new catalog design process including preliminary comps, layout guide, style guide and templates using the grid system
• Project management
• Workload management
• Leading and executing catalog layout design
• Photo editing (removal of backgrounds, color correction, brightening, contrast)
• Production file preparation for spot UV and foil printing techniques as well as two gatefold inserts
• Reviewing/finessing all files
• Overseeing production timelines, schedules, printing costs and communications with the printer
• Review of digital and offset proofs, troubleshooting cropping and color errors
• Social media graphics
• Tradeshow graphics & materials
• Company swag production design
