Site Redesign

The product: 

Website redesign for Bloomin’ Blinds, a blinds installation and repair franchise that is family owned and operated throughout the country. 

The problem: 

  • Felt dated with the client's old branding elements
  • Inefficient user flow for users trying to find a specific category or product
  • A few ADA issues with colors and rollovers

The goal: 

  • Provide a modern refresh to the design that included the client's updated logo
  • Incorporate new graphic elements that are consistent to the client's branding
  • Develop an enhanced page flow to guide the user with categories and product information they are looking for
  • Incorporate clear call-to-actions that make it easy for the user to convert (schedule a free estimate)

My role:

  • Wireframes
  • Prototypes
  • High fidelity proofs - design responsively for multiple screen sizes and devices
  • Video editing
  • Prepare assets for code 
  • Web marketing assets 

Accessibility considerations

Ensuring colors pass the 3:1 contrast ratio per ADA web guidelines, and adding closed captions to video content wherever necessary
